Workshop 8: Callback for Lesson Development Sharing
The Callback session (Workshop 8) for your SLC course will be June 11, 2013 from 4-6pm in B442 at Malden High School.
In this activity, all Science Learning Community (SLC) teachers will come together and share the results of their lesson development and implementation. Lessons learned and promising practices will be identified.
This meeting will be facilitated by Teacher Learning Center Directors.

Part I: Reviewing Lessons and Learning
In preparation for the meeting, please review your lesson. How would you describe your lesson in one paragraph? What are its strengths? What activities are unique to it?
If you have taught your lesson or parts of it in a classroom (i.e., implemented) what did your students learn? What did you learn?
Discussion:
Post to the discussion tab for this page (Workshop 8) before the Callback meeting the following:
A one-paragraph description of your lesson. At the end of the description, include a direct link to your lesson page.
A reflection on what you have learned in this course.
Part II: Callback Meeting -- Sharing Lessons and Learning
The Callback meeting is scheduled for June 11, 2013.
At the Callback meeting we will:
Share our lessons.
Discuss ways in which the group of lessons or their activities could be used in our classrooms.
Reflect on our learning.
